 Like its sister spa in Paris, L'Institut Sothys New York offers the quintessential French spa experience. "The difference between Sothys and other day spas is that we make it a priority to provide the human touch to everything we do," said Trena Ross, Spa Director, L'Institut Sothys New York. "We rely less on machines and more on actually touching our clients from the outside-in. Our goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment where each person can feel comfortable in their own skin."
Aesthetically, the impressive 5,000-square-foot space incorporates dramatically curved ceilings and walls along with a sculpted stairway. Blending contemporary style with modern French influences, the space is open, airy and beautifully lit with both natural and custom lighting. The spa's three levels house an inviting retail/reception area, a luxurious, one-of-a-kind hydrotherapy room, numerous treatment rooms for body, face and nails, and a cafe modeled after a French Bistro where clients can enjoy a beverage or light lunch.
